السلام علیکم! امید کرتی ہوں اکثر لوگ اب تک حالم کی سترھویں قسط پڑھ چکے ہیں۔ یہ وہ قسط تھی جس کا میں خود اٹھارہ ماہ تک انتظار کرتی رہی ہوں۔ کیونکہ اگلی قسط میں مجھے حالم اور جہان سکندر کا کراس اوور کرنا ہے اور اگر آپ حالم دوبارہ پڑھیں تو آپ محسوس کریں گے کہ اس کے ہنٹس شروع سے دیے جاتے رہے تھے۔
تالیہ مراد پہلی قسط سے اس کوشش میں تھی کہ وہ اس راستے کو چھوڑ دے اور داتن کو پہلی قسط سے یہ خوف تھا کہ ایک دن وہ پکڑے جائیں گے۔ جب ہم کوئی کہانی لکھتے ہیں تو اس میں ایک “تنازعہ” رکھتے ہیں اور تمام حالات اس تنازعے کے حل کی طرف بڑھائے جاتے ہیں۔ تالیہ کی خزانے کی تلاش اسی ایک مقصد کے لیے شروع ہوئی تھی کہ اس کو اپنے ماضی سے چھٹکارا مل جائے۔ حالم کی ساری کہانی تالیہ کے اسی تنازعے کے اردگرد گھومتی ہے۔ اس راستے کو چھوڑنے کی کوشش اور بالآخر پکڑے جانا۔ لیکن اب اس کو نئی زندگی شروع کرنے کا ایک چانس ملا ہے۔ تالیہ کو ہمیشہ لگتا تھا کہ بس وہ ایک آخری کون گیم کھیلے گی اور پھر وہ اس راستے کو چھوڑ دے گی۔ مگر حالات اس نہج پہ آتے ہیں کہ یہ آخری کون گیم اسے صوفیہ رحمن کی طرف سے کھیلنے کو کہا جاتا ہے اور اس کے بعد اسے معافی مل جائی گی۔ (کیا واقعی؟)حالم کی ساری کہانی اس آخری کون گیم کی طرف جا رہی تھی۔
اب آتے ہیں کراس اوور کی طرف۔
کراس اوور پاپولر کلچر میں کسی ڈرامے یا ناول کی ایسی قسط کو کہا جاتا ہے جس میں رائٹر ایک قسط کے لیے کسی دوسری کہانی کے کردار کو لاتا ہے۔ یہ ون وے کراس ہے یعنی جہان سکندر حالم میں آئے گا، مگر حالم جہان سکندر کی کہانی میں نہیں جائے گا کیونکہ جنت کے پتے کی کہانی ختم ہو چکی ہے۔ کراس اوور میں جب ایک کردار مہمان اداکار کی طرح کسی دوسری کہانی میں آتا ہے تو یاد رکھیے، اس کا اپنا کردار کبھی متاثر نہیں ہوتا نہ اس کی کہانی بدلتی ہے(جیسے جہان کی) لیکن جس کہانی کے اندر وہ داخل ہوتا ہے اس پہ اپنا اثر چھوڑ کے جاتا ہے۔ جہان سکندر حالم کی کہانی کو افیکٹ کرنے آئے گا ایک قسط کے لیے اور واپس چلا جائے گا لیکن اس کی آمد کی وجہ آپ قسط پڑھ کے ہی جان پائیں گے۔ مجھے کوئی کہہ رہا تھا کہ کراس اوور انڈین ڈراموں میں ہوتے ہیں۔ خیر اب آپ کراس اوورز کی توہین نہ کریں۔ جس نے صرف انڈین دیکھے ہیں ان کو معلوم نہیں ہوگا کہ یہ ان سے پہلے مغربی ڈراموں کا ٹرینڈ ہے اور بہت پاپولر ہے اور مجھے خود بھی بہت پسند ہے۔ نمرہ احمد ویسے ہی ایک رسک ٹیکر رائٹر ہے۔ میں باکس میں رہ کے نہیں سوچتی۔ میں ایسے خطرات لینے کی بہت شوقین ہوں۔ ٹرسٹ می اگر میں نے لوگوں کی خواہشات پہ لکھنے کی عادت ڈالی ہوتی تو میں ایک ناول بھی نہ لکھ پاتی۔ انسان کو خود پہ اتنا یقین ہونا چاہیے کہ اگر وہ کوئی رسک لے تو اس کو احسن طریقے سے سر انجام دینے کا حوصلہ بھی رکھے۔
میں دیکھ رہی ہوں کہ ۹۵ فیصد لوگوں کو کراس اوور بہت پسند آرہا ہے اور پانچ فیصد لوگ اس کے خلاف ہیں۔ ٹرسٹ می اگر پچانوے فیصد لوگ اس کے خلاف ہوتے تب بھی میں نے اسے ایسے ہی کرنا تھا۔ 
اچھا مجھے کراس اوور کے لیے اتنی فرمائشیں آ رہی ہیں کہ اس میں جنت کے پتے کے دوسرے کردار بھی ڈالوں مگر جیسے میں نکتہ چینی کرنے والوں کی نہیں سنتی ویسے ہی میں مداحوں کی خواہشات پہ بھی نہیں لکھ سکتی۔ یہ صرف جہان سکندر کا کراس اوور ہے۔ اس میں دوسرا کوئی کردار ڈالنا حالم کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ رہا جہان تو میں نے تالیہ کا کردار جہان کے نقش پہ تخلیق کیا تھا ہمیشہ سے۔ فرق ہے تالیہ کا ہنس مکھ پن جو جہان میں نہیں ہے۔ وہ جتنی جہان جیسی ہے اتنی ہی مختلف بھی ہے۔ آپ دوبارہ سے کبھی حالم پڑھیں تو آپ کو اندازہ ہوگا کہ میں نے بار بار کور اسٹوری اور کہانیاں گھڑنے والے الفاظ کیوں استعمال کیے تھے۔
حالم کی یہ اگلی قسط اکتوبر کے آخر تک آئے گی۔ اس سے پہلے نہیں۔ یاد رکھیے جو قسط کل آپ نے پڑھی ہے یہ ڈائجسٹ کی ایوریج قسط سے تین گنا بڑی تھی۔ اتنی بڑی اقساط کے باعث ان کو لکھنے میں وقت لگتا ہے۔ اور اس قسط کا تو ویسے بھی انتظار کرنا بنتا ہے۔

Crossover is a term in popular fiction where characters from one story go to another story (usually for an episode only) to help the other story without affecting their own story. “Chor aur Jaasoos” is a one way cross which means ONLY Jihan from JKP will go to Haalim to affect the story of Haalim and character of Taaliya without any changes in his own story. One way cross means Jihan is coming in Haalim. Haalim is NOT going in Jihan’s story.
And no i am not giving this episode on 1st October. I have two meet and greet sessions lined up and I am too tired after this longest episode of Haalim! The writer needs a break, guys!

Wow nice episode! It was quite different from its previous episodes. Fateh is coming out of his shell. Asrah is coming to her real face and personality. it shows that we are heading to the climax. Secondly we shall first time experience the mix up of two main characters of two separate novels. Hopefully meeting two powerful brains will bring a great fun to readers.Thanks to Caretofun also for giving us a chance to directly communicate with our favorite writer.
Jahan tak novel k characters ko real life k sath relate karnay ka taluq hay to agar dekha jae to ham log apni life mein jitnay logo se miltay hain un ke bhe koi na koi kahani hoti hay. har insaan apni life ka markazi kirdar khud hota hay. or daily hamara kai markazi kirdaron k sath crossover hota hay. then why not in story?
